Speech – the blessing of the Children’s Heart Pavilion in Phnom Penh
Calmette Hospital, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Excellency,
Professor Alain Deloche de Noyelle,
Doctors,
Nurses,
The entire staff of La Chaine de l’Espoir,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a great joy for me to be here today, with you all, in the Children’s Heart Pavilion. It is an honor to be part of your tireless efforts to reduce disease and to assist in the education of poor and sick children. To help them look towards a better future.
The Cuomo Foundation has already helped and enabled thousands of children in the world to a better life. We feel privileged and honored to be able to continue this important work in partnership with Chaine de l’Espoir, here in Cambodia.
The Cuomo Foundation, just like Chaine de l’Espoir, in our own separate ways are united in trying to give hope to the children of the world who need it most.
We all need and value your support and well wishes for our continued work here and in other countries where our efforts continue.
Giving hope is our duty.
Thank you, Maria Elena Cuomo
