Your Serene Highness, Members of the Government, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Cuomo Foundation is proud to be a part of the global effort to safeguard biodiversity, which is vital to maintaining balance and supporting all of life on this planet.
Our Foundation’s mission is empowerment and through supporting education and promoting research, we seek to address the urgent environmental problems facing our world.
We are honoured to collaborate with the Prince Albert II Foundation in providing research grants to IPCC students and to support initiatives such as the Re. Generation programme, as we believe that education and research are key in finding sustainable solutions. We hope that these research efforts will result in solutions, even if they are first limited to a local or regional scale.
Through these studies, we hope to see advancements that will not only benefit local communities but also contribute to the larger goal of achieving carbon neutrality and reducing pollution worldwide.
