Roshan Susairaj, accompanied by his mother Sujatha and his sister Jenifer, visited Rome between 16 and 19 May 2017. The program, organized by the Foundation, was part of the educational project initiated for the benefit of the two adolescents; it was aimed at their awakening to the arts and history.
One of the highlights of the journey for the Susairaj family, devout catholics, was the General Audience given by His Holiness Pope Francis on May 17. During the brief encounter at the foot of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Holy Father took the time to listen to the Roshan’s story narrated by Mrs. Maria Elena Cuomo who took them to the audience.
The visit of the museums and the monuments of the Italian capital was a startling opportunity for the two youngsters.
